Kathleen Rice, a democrat (shocker) from NY (double shocker) has said the NRA has become a national security threat under the Trump administration. She specifically mentioned Dana Loesch, the NRA spokeswoman. Earlier last week she had this to say:

Beyond the pale. #NRA (https://twitter.com/hashtag/NRA?src=hash) is a disgrace to the Constitution they claim to defend. Lunatics actively encouraging violence against free press.

From: Washington Post (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2017/08/11/a-democrat-called-the-nra-a-security-threat-the-backlash-was-swift/)

I have just one thing to say about this type of rhetoric from a member of congress who sits on the Homeland Security and the Veterans Affairs Committee. For all of you fellow NRA members and 2A supporters you'd better hope and pray democrats never come into power again.

This is exactly why I despise liberals and liberalism.

#I'mFedUp Email to my reps and senators:

Last week a member of the Homeland Security Committee, Rep Kathleen Rice, had the nerve to call me, my wife (an Air Force veteran), my son (an Air Force MSgt awarded a Bronze Star for Valor and NRA Life Member) and millions more law-abiding Americans "lunatics" and a "threat to national security". She said these things for no reason other than she's an unhinged leftist separated from reality.

I don't have a problem with someone calling me names. Unless that someone is an influential member of congress who sits on a very powerful committee. Kathleen Rice is the threat to the security of this country and specifically to people like me who belong to the NRA and value our freedoms and security outlined in the 2nd Amendment. This particular right is a natural, God-given right that I'm sure Rice would be all to happy to take away from me without any regrets.

As a 14-year Air Force veteran, a veteran police officer and proud member of the NRA I demand that you and other representatives in congress let Rice know, in crystal clear terms, that it's unacceptable to label law-abiding citizens of the United States as "threats to national security" and lunatics simply for believing differently than she does. Her statements are unacceptable and she should be rebuked and removed from her committee assignments.

The people of the State of Idaho and the United States put you, and other republicans like you, in charge of the house and senate and in the presidency, to protect our rights from people like Kathleen Rice. It's about time republicans grew a spine and started doing the work the people obviously want done and I expect it to start with you and the other members of the Idaho delegation.

Let Kathleen Rice know her behavior and idiotic comments against your constituents will not be tolerated.

If you want my vote (and my wife's) in your race for Idaho governor you'll stand up for law-abiding Idaho citizens against outrageous comments from people like Rice. Because if you can't do it in congress I doubt you'll do it anywhere else.

Sincerely,

I thought liberal rhetoric was high during the Obama administration but it's just gone into overdrive since the election.

Unless some amazingly positive things come out of this adminstration (it won't because the RINOS and left are throwing up every obstacle they can to ensure it doesn't happen), the Dems WILL regain power in the next election. At that point we can all say goodbye to the liberties this nation was founded on.

Just like 'Lil Kim, constantly rattling that saber. Give them an inch (reasonable, right?) and they take a mile.

The part she won't put in print is why she considers armed Americans a threat: We aren't going to like what the Libs have planned.

Every day the left pushes us closer to civil war.

I'd be interested to see if you get a reply, besides some generic bullshit written by an intern. I doubt you will.
