Since most of us would rather not have to pay Photobucket to continue using their service to post some pictures on our various sites, can anyone tell me if posting HERE using Postimage.org may not/ should not be used here? Need to know to avoid getting the ban hammer up alongside the head. I just made a post w/picture down in the C&R - Military section. Thanks[blaster]
I use Imgur you set the post so it is private and can still grab the link to imbed in the post

Well, I have Imgur and hate to admit it but have yet to figure out HOW to use the damn thing. This crap seems SO complicated to ME. I can never locate any real clear instructions on how to use such sites.

I use one of two options.
1. Flickr, something I signed up for a long time ago, and still have. It works, and is quite simple.
2. My own hosting site. My brothers and I maintain a handful of domains personally, and have our own public servers.
can you link instagram? Never looked into it. I just upload pictures from my phone as attachments.
Just put your pictures on the line.

You can cheat if you upload pictures to facebook. When you view the detailed picture, right click on it and select "Copy Picture URL" or something to that effect from the mouse menu, come back here, paste it.
I doubt that posting pictures of gun related things on Dorkbook will do good things for you. Just a thought.
This forum doesn't have a gallery. However, another forum I frequent does, so I dump a picture into the gallery and can link from there.
I've happily used photobucket for 15 years, not for storing my original photos but solely for posting photos to forums that are photoshop enhanced with reduced file sizes. Now photobucket has killed all the links and is holding everyone up for waaay too much $$ to reactivate them. That was pretty dirty. Their business of course but I'll take mine elsewhere. I resist posting directly onto forums because many don't allow one to edit or delete them.

I've got bandwidth and storage to spare. Maybe I can set something like that up on a trial basis and see how it works out.
I'd be interested in that.
