View Full Version : New to CO, new to ARs
Hey All,
I recently moved from CA (originally from TX) to CO. I am working on building my first AR, currently waiting on my new license to get in so I can get my lower. I joined here to learn more about ARs, ask a few questions, and get some tips/advice on hunting. I'd love to get into Elk hunting soon. Which is completely different than the deer, hog, and dove hunting I am used to in TX.

Welcome, join the fray.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim
Sorry about the mag ban. Thankfully most of the sheriff's don't think much of it and apparently there's some stupid stuff in the law that could break it if challenged.
Personally I think they should ban vehicles as it seems the "terrorists" have figured out they can very quickly do a ton more damage with a moving vehicle than they can with any firearm.

FYI from a fellow Californian. Never say you're free California. Colorado people hate us haha.

Welcome from the hills just west of Boulder!
Californians are fine as long as they aren't progressive moon bats.
Make sure you checkout our own little jem of shop with Gunsport Colorado at 14th and Arapahoe just across from the Boulder High Senior parking lot.
I've caught on to that. I usually let people know I am from California, but am 100% Texan. [UZI]
I'll have to check Gunsport out. So far I've made a few visits to Shoot Indoors and that's it. When I finish this build, I really want to hit up some outdoor ranges.
