View Full Version : Help with XDM slide lock

So my trusty XDM developed a problem over the last weekend shooting Rocky Mountain 3-Gun. The slide will lock back as expected but the slide lock will not release when I rack it. I can use the slide release without issue but tap and rack fails. Seems like the magazine is failing to unlock something but I am not a pistol guy so not sure how it is designed to work.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

It will cost you $400-$600 to repair...buy a CZ, Glock, FN, or S&W. Lol.

On a more diplomatic note, have you tried:
A different magazine? Dissembling it?
Cleaned it?

It would seem one does need to clean a pistol from time to time. Working now.
