View Full Version : All Internet Hunter Safety courses created equal?

It looks like my schedule didn't allow for me to take the onsite hunter safety (at Cabela's or CGC) this year, and I hoped to get one in. I'm 49 years old, so I cannot take advantage of the 50+ rule. I did grow up hunting, and was taught proper respect and safety with firearms, but I haven't hunted in 30+ years.

Cabela's does have an Internet Conclusion Course in September, so then it comes down to evaluating the Internet options for the bulk of the class. The CPW site has three of them - one for $13, and the other two for roughly $29. Any opinions on the three internet courses?

HunterEdCourse.com (http://hunteredcourse.com/state/) ($13.00)
Hunter-ed.com (http://www.hunter-ed.com/colorado/) ($28.95)
Huntercourse.com (http://www.huntercourse.com/usa/colorado/) ($29.00)

Thanks for the help,

Brian

We did it a couple of years ago for my son and I just picked the cheap one at that time free. It was sufficient the glass is dry and boring, we did the completion course at CGC. I wish I would have taken my daughter so I only had to do it once.
