We used to call those "Flying Starfish" at a job I had in college.

Yup. A black student in my dorm got pulled over by the Campus PD at night while riding his bicycle. When we asked why he got pulled over, he responded "Riding at night while camouflaged." He and the rest of us got a laugh out of it. He got pulled over for not having a light on his bike...but he wasn't all bitter about it being some kind of racial targeting. Could have happened to any of us.

We were taught that college was a time to be challenged by new ideas and experiences as we entered adulthood. College today replaces helicopter parents with helicopter faculty, keeping them children forever by having them wrapped up in leftist dogma, isolated from reality. This is no accident.

"Conservative" today is a relative term. Even that bastion of right-wing media, Fox News, is left leaning. It's just further to the right than the rest of them.
