Blood Moon tonight.

Anyone else notice the Full Blood Moon out ?
If I had a decent camera, I'd post a picture, but my iPad & iPhone can't do it justice.

Though it is not a true Blood Moon, it is very close to the last one that I have seen.

Smokey and hazy as hell tonight.
I found it interesting that the minute the sun went down it was noticeably cooler.

This is almost as bad as it was during the Hayman fire.

Took the girl fishing today at barr lake and we where commented about the potential for a good sunset due to the haze. Have not seen the moon yet though

It has lost most of its color since rising from just above the horizon.

Still coughing down in the ranch. Can't remember smoke getting to me like this. Grew up in the Brown Cloud.

Woke up yesterday and the air station in the house was going nuts. AQI (air quality index) 160 and rose to 200 during the day yesterday. I know the CDPHE is warning people but I don't think they're telling folks how bad it is.

Should dissipate for us later today.

It's the same here. There's so much smoke in the air it looks like fog in front of the motion lights on the house. There are so many fires going on up here I can't keep track of all of them.

Did make for a pretty, red moon last night, though.

The sunlight turned red before the sun went down. Air quality is really poor.Yup, took this picture at about 5:30. It was even more orange than the picture shows. Thought it was an awesome Broncos sunset but it was way too early.

Very bad smoke yesterday. Guess the cold front brought it all down.

Much better air now! Getting 55 in the house which is still high but not "call in the grandparents" high.

Check out that sunset! The sun was disappearing from view, before it reached the mountains. Was able to look right at it without any issue.

I was out at BLGC on Monday, took some photos of the sun as it was setting. So much haze in the air it looked like a full moon.
