Can anyone tell me where they are mining up near Fairplay? Wife and I want to take a road trip.

Northwest of Fairplay. I was up there looking at buying a mine a couple of years ago.I'm sure somebody in Fairplay will point you in the general direction.

It is the mines as you come up Hwy 9 from Fairplay to Alma you will see one on the left and one on the right. I hope they make sure that it is reclaimed when they are done.

Was up there fixing water pump engines last summer and let's just say the level of ignorance portrayed on TV is an understatement compared to reality . The entitled stupid runs deep up there .
