So I was at a gun show and found this shotgun advertised as a Beretta. Knowing it wasn't a beretta I offered a low(almost insulting) and he took it. So I'm trying to figure out what I have now. It looks like some pics I've seen of marocchi guns but nothing looks just right. Mostly the engraving never matches. In the pics on says made in Italy (clear enough). The other says forest ( something online said the town it was made in?). One barrel says cam.70 the other says kci.350. And both say 18.4 closer to the breach. Don't know a ton about over under so anything you guys know would be great. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170917/cfbc3509155d85894017ce7891743e8c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170917/cdb86d12e75a76c1795910d16d57b237.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170917/cbe7b8925183b408b165df4f105d0f26.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170917/e529850a072ee52b2ee16365ddf890b9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170917/9bac4e53622d821f1c1f5acda69ffc07.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170917/e1c851a4518d1cf788fdf9901994169b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170917/72a8d377e68cbf690a56bea901ec0d9f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170917/77463fa46e3b93fcbcc8cbfc5778f4c1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170917/5617c05d02f0ab91c53e3e14cdc0b9fb.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170917/7508bc49cbe388ff61f7767ccf3e2968.jpg

Looks like a well used Franchi Aristocrat Silver King-Field aka Forest-
Similar to a Perazzi but without the finish level

Thanks I knew someone would get it. I'll get in touch with them. I know it's definitely not a marocchi due to them not having record of it's serial number

I like learning new things so I started poking around. I think your gun may actually be a Sabatti Forest.

Have you ever shot it? Do you have pictures of the breach for both barrels?

I have shot it a hand full of times, busts clays just fine. I can get some better ones in the morning, the girlfriend isnt feeling good and already went to bed, probably should not be rustling things around trying to get a good pic lol any info anyone can give is great

Do you have a sharper focused close-up of the proof marks under the chambers?
---->78776

70 is the chamber depth - 2 3/4"
18.4 is likely the bore in millimeters. I think this equates to a 'Skeet' choke.

AM is probably the date code = 1984

Gardone Proof House - to the right of the serial #
FINITO - Finished Proof
PSF - Proofed for Smokeless Powder - "Polvere Sensa Fumo"

Still seeing if I can find others. The one that looks like an F on top of stacked W's is interesting. Is the stamp between the FINITO and PSF say BONOM or WONOB? Can you figure out what's in the one to the right of the boxed AM?

Early import sabatti o/u

Importer should be IFG, but may previously been brought in by Beretta group

Awesome. Seems like we are getting somewhere
Do you have any links where you found that? Or was it just amazing knowledge stored up for the right time?
