Yes, yes it does. I've been trying to convince my folks to move out of that shit hole for years.

I lived in Rocky Ford for about 4 1/2 years. Worked in LA junta. Garbage paying jobs and that's if you can find one.

That was entertaining and I generally agree with it...

It was more boring than annoying ... the tl;dr version is that she didn't regret moving to Denver for a while but she's glad she's going back to NYC because she's not into pot or outdoor stuff (and she missed all the things about NYC that most of us would hate, like traveling on smelly, crowded subways). Glad to see her and her ilk leaving, but she basically ended it with "if your an outdoorsy pothead you'll love it here".

I moved to Pueblo in July. Best fireworks ever.
So far I like it here, but all the things on the "worst cities" list are true.
I like the small city, the parks, the blue collar feel, the lack of HOA's, the American flags flying, the community college, the weather, and easy access to some great mountains. Plus I have family members here that I really like. I also like that no one wants to come here.

I think the real problem with Pueblo is the cocaine, heroin, meth, etc. coming up from our southern neighbors across the border. The drugs are causing all kinds of crimes. I think they just need more money for law enforcement. I don't actually live in the city, so I can't vote for it. There is a FBI Safe Streets task force assigned here and they are helping. But until the drugs are stopped, the problem persists.

I just think you are missing the point of living somewhere with low cost of living including low taxes and less government interference.

When it comes to drugs (cocaine, heroin, meth) and drug related crimes (vehicle theft, robbery, check fraud) I don't know that less government interference is all it's cracked up to be.

I would say taxes and mismanagement of funds, then more taxes and more mismanagement. I guess I just don't trust the government to solve it.

The only things they're good at are wasting our money, incompetency, mismanagement, and corruption.
