Centennial Gun Club is having their annual Gun Festival tomorrow Saturday the 23rd from 10-4. Lots of vendors and other fun stuff. Oz and Tig will be there doing what they do.
Man it sucks that place is a plague. I'd love to meet those guys

I was tempted to go but decided not to get the wrist band after walking in and seeing their sign. RMGO as a sponsor kind of turned me off.
Probably won't be able to get over, it'd be worth the hassle to see and hear Oz and Tig. Last two years I've done ok on the drawings, won a gun the first year (S&W 642) and a bunch of ammo last year. I don't buy much there but I do enjoy the ranges.
I like to shoot there, but things get crowded REALLY fast. I'm still on the fence as to if we make it there for the festivities.
Went there today around 1:30 PM for the first time in over 4 years. Place seemed avout the same. Was totally dead. Did not see Tig or Oz.

Saturday was the big day-that's when Oz & Tig were there. I didn't go, some friends did, said it was very crowded, got their books autographed by them.

Who are Oz & Tig?
I recognize these names as Benghazi contractors from the film 13 Hours.
As well done as the film was, the book is one that should be read.

What's wrong with CGC?
What's wrong with CGC?
A while back, they sold SEVERAL out of spec lowers (to the point of being unusable) to people. CGC basically told them to pound sand.

Short story: CGC sold a bunch of lowers with bad spec front detent holes. They would not admit their lowers were bad. They blamed the customers for not knowing how to assemble a LPK. Even when presented with a power they could not assemble. I work less than a mile from there and will not set foot inside, I can go a mile in the other direction to get what I need.
I do not, however, need a range. I have somewhere to shoot, so I cannot speak to that aspect.
I'll leave this man's thread alone now...
Resurrecting old thread...at least they will sell you normal capacity magazines as "magazine kits". I guess most LGS's probably do that anyways. And sometimes they have interesting stuff on their clearance wall.
They spent a couple of weeks rennovating the place before the event, although the rennovation was more a shuffling around than anything. Now the gun rental/range counter is a total packed mess with retail shelving blocking direct access.
