And that's okay...[Coffee]
His long life suggests that access to frequent playful sex success is good for you.
I never met Mr. Hefner but I met and enjoyed Playboy Bunnies before the femi-nazis destroyed American manhood.
Do we need to start a bunny adoption program. I know if we word this right we can get a mess of Boulderites to contribute $ before they actually find out what they are funding.

Larry Flynt had a better magazine.
But it wasn't the first.
Playboy After Dark.
Introduced many a jazz & blues player to the American TV watcher.

Modern Man was the first. Predated Playboy by a year.

I don't think so unless your only measure is by the level of bodily exposure in Flynt's Hustler rag. Playboy had class far beyond in the quality of women featured, the photography, the notable authors, writing and humor. Sadly, Playboy declined due to it's increasingly leftist political focus which alienated it's base, yet ironically it's the leftist feminist political movement that killed the magazine even before the advent of online porn.
Well, tube8 sure is better than all the mags I found as a kid....but
Sure would have been fun to be ole hef for a month or two!

Some people can turn any topic political.

Ha! You only looked at the pictures, didn't you! [ROFL2]
Playboy became highly political in the later years.
I only read it for the articles. There were pictures of nekkid wimmins in there?

The Los Angeles police department is now saying there was foreplay involved.

...but there's no hard evidence.

Long-time champion for abortion rights. My opinion only...he did more harm than good overall for our society. I probably won't grieve too long. Annnd I'm done.

Every guy remembers finding "Dads" Playboy(s) when they were a kid, I think.... but I was a subscription holder for the last 10-12 years or so. Honestly, there were some crap articles and interviews over that time, but there were some good thought provoking ones as well on about an equal level.
The big down turn in quality started about three years ago, and last year I just let the subscription expire....it had turned to total garbage. It must have sucked for him to hear about the circulation bottom dropping out before he passed, but he lived in that mansion with all those hot ladies and crazy parties for all those years.
Damn,......... what a lifestyle to have become acclimated to, and for such an extended period of time as well.
He definitely had a good run. You would have thought that after Al Gore invented the Internet it would have put a big divot in his livelihood.

I won't expand on why I feel this way, but I'm going to have to agree with BG on this one.
