Any recommendations for a trigger similar to a SSA-E that wont break the bank?
I have heard good thing about this La Rue MBT trigger on various other forums. Have not tried one myself. http://www.larue.com/larue-tactical-mbt-2s-trigger
Being abit of a Geissele fan boy, I have had six in various rifles I wait for sales and buy then. They do 20-25% off sales which makes a great trigger a even better deal.
Wait for Black Friday at Geissele. I just checked my email from 2016, and they discount SSA/SSA-E 30% off, thats $168. You will not be disappointed with Geissele.

I’ve switched from giessele to Larue MBT do to price. Triggers are very nice.
I had an SSA-E in my SPR and switched to Larue. Have seen no change in accuracy potential, so long as the usual conditions apply (head in the shot and not in my ass)

I have them on all my ARs.
You'll be amazed at the difference.
No FTF even we russian crap ammo.
For $10.49 is worth a shot.

The JP spring kit and a few seconds with a good stone makes for a beautiful trigger for $15 bucks and a few minutes.
Still more take-up and over travel than my Timney drop in, but the Geissele has more more of both as well.
Geiselle G2S, which is an unmarked SSA trigger, can be had on sale for $135 or less. Add in reduced Springs and you have a SSA-E for a lot less money.

I've been using RRA's 2-stage triggers in my ARs. They seem to have appreciated in price since I bought mine years ago, but they have a nice clean break and I didn't have to spend much.

I shoot Geissele triggers in every AR I have, I use the SD-C whether it's a trunk rifle or my precision rigs. While I used to pick them up at Shot Show, they no longer are offering them at least this year they didn't. Black Friday sales was when I got my last and it was better than the 20% off coupon they were handing out at Shot Show.

The Larue trigger is only $99 + shipping, and I would say it is every bit as good as my SSA... I have bought 4 over the last few years. The shoe has a slightly blocky feel on the pad of my finger that took some getting used to, though.
Larue triggers are on sale for $87. I am going to order one.
LaRue was backordered. The new trigger arrived this afternoon. I installed it this evening. Not done that before, so, there was a learning curve on how to do this. Decent instructions helped greatly. Feels like half the weight of theoriginal, much shorter pull and crisp. I will go to the range next week hopefully.
With all of the Black Friday deals going on right now there should be plenty of reasonably priced trigger upgrades available.
