Kinda sad. I also used to frequent Paladin Arms...the gun store associated with them.
The internet claims another victim.

I have a mint copy of "the Partisan" Issue 1, Volume 1, Fall 1998 - got it from Bob, way back then.
The issue where they were talking about Waco in an interview with Mike McNulty.
And Paladin Arms retail store was on main St. in Longmont, before closing down in 2001.
Actually 2 copies.
Sad to see the press go too.

Used to listen to his radio show. Bummed to hear shutting down.

The original Paladin Arms on east Arapahoe in Boulder was a favorite hangout in HS and college. I still have my Norinco SKS, SMLE and 91/30 I picked-up there. Uzi the big white dog was a hoot. I only visited the Longmont location a couple of times- prices were higher and a longer drive.

Yah...I frequented both locations regularly even tho I lived down in Englewood. Had forgotten about Uzi

The first gun I purchased was from the Longmont Paladin in '95 or so....... a previously owned G17.

Sad to see them go. I admit that I haven't ordered anything from them in probably 20 years but I've got one book with their logo on it in the bookcase next to me and several others in another bookcase (plus several others in boxes). Clicking on the link Celt provided brought back memories. I always enjoyed the catalogs. Of course, that was way before the interwebs....
Well, after a ginormous spending spree today...I'm pretty sure I'm on several watch lists now.
Hit Bob's shop a couple of times. Nice but way over priced. There are rumors and stories that I won't get into. Used to hit the "up north" local radio station and listen to the rumor mill. There used to be a bookstore in northern Denver that had a "radical" section. Got more than a few PP books there. Too bad the interwebs is killing these businesses.
