I have a WE Hi-capa Edge that I'm liking, but so far I'v ejust used my CO2 canister mags. Is there anyplace in Denver that I can buy green gas propelant? Tried some sporting good stores and google searches, but I'm not coming up with much. Just looking to get it with out having to ship it in.

I thought I'd put this in training, but it seems that is for classes mainly.

Thanks!

As far as I know, most people get a propane adapter and use the little Coleman cans of propane that are really cheap, to charge with instead of green gas.

Don't know how far you want to go, but Jax in Loveland carries green gas. If I recall, it was about $12 a can.

Most sporting goods store (Dick's, Sports Authority, etc) sell Green Gas but, like it was already pointed out by DeusExMachina, you can very well purchase a propane adapter and some silicone lubricant and use that (which will save you quite a bit of money).

Keep in mind that Green Gas is nothing more than Propane (minus the sulfur additive used to that you can spot a gas leak) with silicone already mixed in. If you use a Propane tank (like the Coleman tanks), you will have to add a drop of the lubricant to the tip of the adapter every three or four fills.

For obvious reason, neither Green Gas or straight Propane is recommended for use if you are going to be practicing indoors or anywhere else that may not be well-ventilated. If you are planning on practicing for example in the basement of your home, you should either consider continue using "duster gas" or making sure that you have good ventilation.

Depending on the brand and model of pistol that you are using, the gain in pellet speed by going from duster gas to green gas is usually no more than 30 fps. With target positioned under 10 yards, you will not be gaining nor loosing accuracy by switching from one propellant to the other.

Fox is Denver/South Metro's one stop shop for all your airsoft needs. It is located in Parker and they usually have green gas in stock. See site for store hours.
