Found this, thought I'd pass it on. And yes, I forgot the 'n' within the title.

Is that a pump pistol grip shotgun with a magazine? Doesn't look like a Saiga..Not that Saigas are pump.

I'm not sure what it is. My first thought was Kel Tec, but I don't think they make shotguns. If it was a reputable company (good product) I wouldn't mind picking one up!
My Gun Senses are tingling and I'm thinkin it's a toy.
In which case, pray that there are no zombies. If that was a real shot gun, win indeed. Good idea though, time for me do finally do something to this houses decor, the wife has to understand safety.

I know! Put one right next to the fire extinguisher!

Can't go wrong with the good old Remington 870. Kills zombies and rattlesnakes dead. Even zombie rattlesnakes...[LOL]

It makes me wonder if you could pistol grip a Saiga...

Yes you can.

Yes the shotgun in the case is a toy. My middle son has one. It is a plastic airsoft gun painted black. Great prop though, most would never know for sure...
The shotgun shells and safety glasses look real though, so the case would be useful during zombie attacks after all.[AR15]

box mag fed pump gun!
Other than the pdf, and i have had little luck finding much on it, there was a company called knoxx that made them(with 2 x's, not a typo). Lemme know what you guys find. I just did a quick 30 second search...
the gun is full of fail unfortunately. tube fed shotgun with a box mag?[Bang]
plus it is an NFA since it is a SBS (if it were real).
and the ultimate fail is the damn 2 3/4 bird shot included....WTF is that going to do to a fucking zombie!!!!![Rant1]
I think I need to spend a half hour and make something you can druel over[Muaha]
It's a conversion to a box mag, you'd still need the old tube mag to guide the pump handle wouldn't you?

Once again....
The shotgun in the picture is an airsoft shotgun painted black. They can be purchased at Big5.
IT IS NOT THE KNOXX CONVERSION
Anybody know off-hand if there is a drum mag available for the Knoxx conversion? Now that would rock..

from reading about the "zombie killer" on the calguns forums, it sounded like the guy was waiting for a 10 rd drum mag that he had ordered.

We know, but it doesn't matter, because he is talking about the very concept of a magazine pump action with a mag tube still on it, but I don't think he realized that a conversion exists. I know I didn't realize it because I was trying to figure out how to make one.

Guess I misunderstood, thought he was saying the one on display was the conversion.
I do like the idea of mag fed and have seen some with drums on youtube before. Awesome firepower!!
Besides, Birdshot will work just fine... All you have to do is a head shot and collapse the skull..

When you're dealing with Zombies, I wouldn't trust anything BUT a headshot.
Birdshot should be sufficient to knock out teeth right? No one would care about Zombie if they just gummed on you.

I dunno, it might get annoying after a while, but then I guess they'd be close enough for an effective follow up shot.

Thats when you bust out the Taurus Judge right?

I suppose, I'm not a big fan of the Judge tho. Cool concept, just not for me.
I think the judge would be awesome if it was smooth bore only. Threading the barrel so it can shoot .45 kind of ruins the whole point of the dual ammo capability. IMO.

Yeah, that was one of my complaints against it. I dunno, also doesn't seem like a very concealable gun, so I'm kinda left without a use for it.
The rifleings are there for legal reasons only. Otherwise it would be a shotgun and that makes liberals sad:(

Really? I didn't know that. Damn liberals.

Liberals...
They constantly assault our rights and try to take guns out of the hands of responsible people.
Funny thing is, if the SHTF, who will they be hiding behind? Other vegans who are also afraid to defend themselves? Funny and sad all at once.
They won't be hiding behind me. I'll be the one hunting them trying to get all my stuff back.

What is the law concerning smooth bore again? I thought it had to be over a certain size? Probably not.

I'm pretty sure a smoothbore pistol is an NFA item. The very existence of such a thing in private hands makes liberals very sad..http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/images/icons/icon9.gif
Everybody knows a smoothbore pistol is at least as powerful and dangerous as the bomb which destoryed Hiroshima. Just ask your nearest liberal....

I'm sure it is a NFA item, but I don't understand why... Wouldn't that make it less accurate, unless you're shooting bird/buck shot?
While I'm not planning on taking care of anyone but me and my family during a SHTF situation. I don't see the need to help those so dependent on a government that they can't shit with out permission.
I'm going to have my own problems to worry about.
I'm not sure about the NFA (but a quick google search would clear it up) but no pistols can be had with a smooth bore. Otherwise its considered a short barreled shotgun or AOW. But its been about 6 years since I read the whole NFA law. So I might wrong.

I just came across this made by remington. It's a .223 rifle. looks like a pump shotgun with a box mag.

Cool idea, don't think it will catch on though, especially in .223. The mag release is so far forward of the grip, I don't think there is any way it could be actuated with one hand during a reload. It also has a very short sight radius, and its a pump. Put it in 12ga and I'm interested, but .223, I'll just buy an AR.

My thoughts exactly. I don't see why I should pump a forend between rounds for a .223.

Yeah, that Remington looks like the bastard offspring of an 870 pump action shotgun and an AR-15...I don't see the appeal. The only thing I can figure is if a guy lived in an area where "assault rifles" are banned, and was just dying to have something which looks "tactical", he might buy this gun. Other than that, I don't get it. Especially when the MSRP is well within what a guy could buy an AR for.
From what the ad said, it seemed like they were trying to market it as the ultimate reliable survival gun because of the reliability of a pump gun. That's my take on it I guess.
