What's interesting about Charlie is how many people were actually lured in to his "beliefs and lifestyle" till the day he died. People would send him letters on a daily basis ranging from marriage proposals, wanting to have his children, asking if he wanted them to help him escape etc.

He was one of the original cult masters holding sway over thousands of people worldwide. All from behind bars at Corcoran State pen. Makes one wonder how many people walking free can and are doing the same, from Hollywood, D,C some religious place or your neighborhood..

This guy should have been executed decades ago. What a waste of taxpayer dollars to keep this guy fed and entertained.

The blame lies on the state of CA, who (IMO) has a serious failure when it comes to death penalty cases, if not the entire sentencing system.
Considering they went from the CA Dept of Corrections to rebranding their image CA Dept of Corrections AND Rehabilitation. Tells you a lot how CA feels towards convicts.

Surprisingly he was never shanked in prison, probably due to him spending the majority in solitary.

Where I grew up I could turn right out of my driveway. Hit the dirt roads and be at the cabin they caught him at in about 60 min if you hauled ass. Not see another person there and back. Never hung out there too long lol. Never camped.

More than I want to think about. I've seen several people with some charisma, up here, with a gaggle of followers. Sorry but weak minds fall for this.

I won't even get into the TV evangelists.

Heard they found him in the cabinets under the kitchen sink. Too bad the cabin was burned down. Kinda had a loar to it.
