Anyone out there know anything about this? I guess there are creams or oils or something. My mother is visiting and someone told her to give it a try here before going through getting a medical card back in AZ.

Dont know the first thing about any of this. Any help would be appreciated.

Let her try it....if it works, hallelujah. If it doesn't, at least she tried it.

If it can improve her quality of life, that's awesome.

Just the other day I heard that there are some kind of MJ based creams that can reduce back pain. My concern is that it would show positive during a drug screen. I don't now anything about them and I'm not sure if they contain THC or not.

You're looking for CBD's which are Non or very , very low thc content.

Go to a store and ask for topicals. They will have a few varieties and are knowledgeable enough to help pick one. I have used a cream in the past for a busted shoulder. Think Icy Hot with better pain relief. Expensive though. Doesn't get you high, or even the hint of a buzz.

A lot of the actual medicinal creams and real medications, such as those to fight epilepsy, don't have the impairing THC. It will have the non-pyschoactive THC, which is what stays in urine for 30 days plus. I don't know exactly what's in the creams but personally if it's Delta 9 THC stay away from it if impairment is a concern.

If it does impair and she doesn't drive and she feels better it may be a plus. If it is non-impairing and she feels better then it's a plus. There are real medical uses for marijuana based products. It's generally not the crappy weed that some 18 year old got because of his bad knee from skateboarding too much.

Consult a physician. My thought process is that if it's prescribed by a doctor = important. If it's prescribed by the state = pothead.

Some swear by the Cbd cream. Did nothing for my dad or I for joint pain. However, Blue Emu works great for both of us. May have your mom take a look at it. Fraction of the cost of cbd oil,or cream.
