I received a couple of announcements that subguns.com was bought by MachinegunCentral.com
Subguns and Sturmgewehr.com used to be the go-to locations for seeing what was available and what current prices were bouncing around.
Sturmgewehr changed their format and fee structure a year or two ago and lost my interest.
MachinegunCentral is offering free listings for now until their name gets out.
It will be interesting to see if they turn into another gunbroker.com and if their platform is successful.

I'm all for forward technology progress, but I'm not a big fan of the format of either of the new sites. Sturm was a hot mess before, so it's saying something that I also preferred the old site.
As for subguns, unless I'm missing something, it looks like Frank G. is now the "owner" behind the new machineguncentral site..? Not sure how I feel about that. I've dealt with Frank before, and he's an ok guy, but I'm not a fan of the way he does business. I suppose it makes sense for him though - if he can reduce all those fees he pays gunbroker, that's quite a chunk of change I'd guess.

Just received an email from Frank that indicates he is the owner of both.
I've done business with him in the past and found he delivers on all of his promises.
That is important in a world where it is cash up front involving large sums of money.
He does make his living as a dealer and his mark-up is not the highest I have seen.
If you get involved with NFA firearms for investment with the added benefit of shooting while they appreciate, patience is rewarded.

My marriage couldn't afford a day with a hot red-head, but that doesn't stop me from looking and drooling and dreaming.

Same thing with the MP5SD.
