While I've never personally been threatened by a shirt before...

'Rope. Tree. Journalist. Some Assembly Required': Walmart Removes Threatening Shirt From Store (https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/whats-hot/rope-tree-journalist-some-assembly-required-walmart-removes-threatening-shirt-from-store/ar-BBG0hKj)

Walmart (http://fortune.com/fortune500/walmart/) has removed a shirt bearing the words “Rope. Tree. Journalist. Some assembly required” from its website, following a complaint from a journalist advocacy group.

The shirt was listed on Walmart’s website through a third-party seller, Teespring, which allows people to post their own designs for sale.

“This item was sold by a third-party seller on our marketplace and clearly violates our policy,” a Walmart statement said, according to CBS News (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/walmart-pulls-rope-tree-journalist-t-shirt-from-site/). “We removed it as soon as it was brought to our attention, and are conducting a thorough review of the seller’s assortment.” Walmart reportedly removed the shirt five hours after the complaint was made, according to the Radio Television (https://www.pricefalls.com/search?q=tv&store_id=&category=) Digital News Association (RTDNA), which made the complaint.

This political correctness is more endangering than people getting over words that they don't agree with.

I guess the old joke, "What do you call 1,000 lawyers at the bottom of the sea? A good start." is now "hate speech".

Self-inflicted perhaps... I mean, seriously, journalism, in the context of how it was in a time long since passed, is dead in America these days. True journalism, that is.

The instructions don't include journalists, or trees though.

Now hammocks on the other hand...

I understand why it was off the shelf.
Tree hugger would be extremely mad, because it can damage the branch.

Walmart or any retailers has duty to satisfy their shareholder, not to satisfy lefty or righty.

NOW, if this stupid shirt sells 10million in presale order, Walmart ( or any other retailers) compliance dept will make whatever the damn reason to keep it on the shelf.

For an example, If someone doesn't like Microsoft or apple because they are too left/right, consumer has rights to stop using Microsoft window product or iphone/pad.

That cross was made from a cut down tree. I'd say a better slogan would be "Save Jesus. Kill a carpenter." if not for the irony.

In other news, the t-shirt is suing the loss control agent at Walmart for sexual harassment because they touched it inappropriately while escorting it off the property. The t-shirt could not be reached for comment.

1. While I was shopping, I saw a pink Superman shirt.
I was offended that girls are okay wearing Superman's shirt, but it is weird for boys to wear Wonder Woman's shirt?

The important question is, were you able to find it in your size?
