While I've never personally been threatened by a shirt before...
'Rope. Tree. Journalist. Some Assembly Required': Walmart Removes Threatening Shirt From Store (https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/whats-hot/rope-tree-journalist-some-assembly-required-walmart-removes-threatening-shirt-from-store/ar-BBG0hKj)
Walmart (http://fortune.com/fortune500/walmart/) has removed a shirt bearing the words “Rope. Tree. Journalist. Some assembly required” from its website, following a complaint from a journalist advocacy group.
The shirt was listed on Walmart’s website through a third-party seller, Teespring, which allows people to post their own designs for sale.
“This item was sold by a third-party seller on our marketplace and clearly violates our policy,” a Walmart statement said, according to CBS News (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/walmart-pulls-rope-tree-journalist-t-shirt-from-site/). “We removed it as soon as it was brought to our attention, and are conducting a thorough review of the seller’s assortment.” Walmart reportedly removed the shirt five hours after the complaint was made, according to the Radio Television (https://www.pricefalls.com/search?q=tv&store_id=&category=) Digital News Association (RTDNA), which made the complaint.
This political correctness is more endangering than people getting over words that they don't agree with.
I guess the old joke, "What do you call 1,000 lawyers at the bottom of the sea? A good start." is now "hate speech".
