Just found this website that has old sears (and other retailer) christmas catalogs / wish books.

The oldest one goes back to 1937.

Lots of toys that I remember asking for, and a few that I actually got.

I didn't mean it that way. LOL The first thing I'd do is tear open those kits and lose nuts, bolts and washers in the carpet. I remember hearing them getting sucked up in the vacuum and my mom getting annoyed at me.

I didn't ask for it, but the family got one of these one year for Christmas.

This was an upgrade from Dad's Sno-Bunny.

Yeah, no kidding... the SSP's.... launching them off ramps. The Rock'em Sock'em robots, cap guns... neat stuff!
