Kyle Clark and 9 news got their little feelers hurt when DPD said they have more accurate news reporting.
Kyle Clark is concerned about a free press and worried the government is trying to steer people away. LOL.

I think it's safe to say that 9NEWS and DPD both have their own agendas. Which one is more accurate is open for debate.

Kyle Clark has gotten his feelings hurt so many times on TV it's hilarious. But what I do find funny as that police agencies try to tweet or hand out the most accurate information that they have in part for fear of backlash which they will receive no matter what. The news organizations can be completely off or be blatant with their agenda and everyone just shrugs it off like no big deal.
I really like Kyle Clark and the Next show. I think this is a case of looking for a story. I'm sure the person who tweeted that was just a regular person who posted a regular thought. They had no idea that it was going to be hit with the modern microscope of scrutiny. Sad when even a casual tweet has such weight. Sign of the times I guess.

Really? I find that dude so irritating.
But I agree. No one can have a little fun anymore or make casual sarcasm without everyone getting so upset.
When I click on a link to read an article and there is a pop-up, or a video starts, I close the page.

Kyle Clark has always been a candy ass snowflake bitch.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim
DPD is just following Trump's lead- Don't rely on the "news" to report stuff (and kudos to them making a jab at the pop-ups), go directly to the people. Your message tends to be less watered down and presented without bias.
DPD should not have apologized.

I think the guy's okay. He's a smart ass sometimes, gets into it with other anchors on air, and sometimes tells someone to pound sand....on air. Meh, we're in the minority on this, Ben.
MSM blows ass, but some of us think he bucks the system and I like to see that over the regular shit we've all grown up with.
I met Kyle Clark at a charity event a couple years ago... he was a bit of a dick. Could be that he wanted to be left alone, but I recognized him, said hello and asked how he was liking the beer (it was a tasting event) and he apparently didn't want to make small talk. I had no intention of chatting him up for more than a few moments.

Hell.....maybe his IS a dickhead. Information is good...if I've misplaced some respect for him it's better to know the truth in order to formulate a solid opinion.
:)

Met him at a friend’s party-she knows his wife-and he came across as a pompous ass there too. No use for him.

Damn.
I held an unjustified opinion of the man it seems.
Now that I'm a little more up to date on Kyle, thanks guys. I didn't know.
Who?
That's what I was thinking.....

Definitely.
And I agree on taking Trump's lead. Bypass MSM. Most of us aren't paying attention to MSM. It is perfectly fitting that [disgraced liar] Dan Rather has become the voice for the social media generation on fake news.
I'll pass and filter the news to my own liking. Props for anyone who brings it directly to me via twitter or whatever, and I don't twitter. Yeah, they have a bias, but so does MSM and I'd prefer to go directly to their biases, not MSM's.
Sure DPD appoligized , but I bet all their dust covers say FUCK YOU KYLE CLARK now.
Just read this tweet from my local police department:
When questioned about stealing his girlfriend's Cadillac, suspect says he was just trying De-Escalade a domestic situation.

Luckily not a lot of AR 15s in that PD. Very hard to get to carry one from what I understand.
Up next at 9 news. Three men charged with abusing a fish after 4 month investigation.

I’ll confess I laughed.
A free press supposes free speech which supposes free will. The latter indicates the ability to do what is right a la freedom, though people misinterpret it as doing what they want (more properly expressed as liberty). Since we as a culture have embraced relativism, we have lost freedom at the corporate level and replaced it with liberty (note: I use this term in a specific manner, not to be confused with its colloquial application). As such, free speech has fallen into a cess pool, and thus so has free press. As long as DPD sticks with facts and not iced them with agenda, they indeed do provide more accurate news than any local channel. If the news doesn't like it, they should think about perhaps jettisoning agenda.
I’ll confess I laughed.Me too. Nice call back from another thread.

I get better local updates from JeffCo SO's Facebook than any news source. I really do appreciate the frequent updates from local LE and it is about the only thing I use social media for.

With a felony no less.

Many agencies seem to be getting better at their social media presence. The one I work for has been pushing this lately, and Jeffco does a great job of doing profiles of "humanizing the badge" with some of their deputies.
