Candlelight Vigil: Wednesday, December 13
With mass shootings happening almost every week across our country,
progressive Christians find the need, more than ever, to stand up for human
lives lost to shootings and for human lives at risk of a shooting every day.
As witness to this, members and friends of First
Plymouth Church are encouraged to participate in
a candlelight vigil in front of the church
on Wednesday, December 13, at dusk. The vigil
is in commemoration of the fifth anniversary of the
Sandy Hook massacre and in honor of all others
lost to gun violence.
The vigil will be held in cooperation with both
First Universalist across the street and Colorado
Faith Communities United to End Gun Violence.
The program will have participants standing on
both our corner of Colorado and Hampden and First Universalist’s corner.
Participants will gather in the First Plymouth courtyard at 4:15 p.m. for
opening comments and prayers, followed by moving to either of the two
corners from 4:30 p.m. to about 5:30 p.m. Participants are asked to bring their
own light sources such as candles, flashlights, cell pones, lanterns, etc.
We will also hold a sign-making party in advance of the vigil on December 5
at 6 :00 p.m. in Plymouth Hall. Please join us!

I browsed their newsletter and while I disagree with them on probably 99% of their newsletter, and would even take a confirming look at my driver's license if they told me my name, they're perfectly within their rights to do such things.

Besides, the Johnson Amendment is NWO trash and needs to be scrapped.

One of the Highlands Ranch Word of Mouth facebook pages had this posted last week and a couple of people took the poster and her like minded friends to task and got a lot of women upset at them. We are seeing a surge of liberals and left leaning people moving into Douglas County and taking over certain aspects of what was our norm. The Highlands Ranch Speakeasy Facebook page recently had a post from a female who was a proud snowflake and promised she and her fellow snowflakes would soon turn into a snowstorm that would engulf us all. Her friends then posted all the necessary "Game of Thrones" gifs in relation to that.

Pope Francis being misreported? There's a lot of news reported, from the horses mouth, and he strikes me less as a papal authority and more as a political figure... a very progressive, liberal figure. Thankfully I'm not Catholic, nor do I recognize "papal authority" as this guy is not helping the cause of Christianity around the world ATM.
