It appears that the Honor Defense line of single stack handguns, The Honor Guard line, suffers from the same fatal flaw that the Sig P320 does, it is not drop safe. The gun is/was claimed to be a single stack version of the 320 series by its manufacturer. Patrick over at the Firearm Rack formerly of The Firearm Blog (aka TFB) claims he was aware of issues with Honor Defense but was told to not publish anything about it while working as a writer and YouTube content creator at TFB.

Apparently the company does not want to admit that their baby is ugly. If you have one please don’t carry it until you confirm your model is safe for carry. Stay safe out there everybody.

Isn't this the copy of M&P Shield? I never could see paying the premium for this unproven handgun when the shield can be had much cheaper and is well proven.

That’s what everyone’s immediate reaction was, in truth it’s more of a single stack Sig
320 by design. The Honor Guard does share similar aesthetics to the Smith and Wesson Shield.

There is no honor in the Honor Guard line of pistols.
