I heard about this the other day, too darn funny!

Mikesell said the botched sale made him wonder how often people - even children - are approached with similar offers.
Ummmm, this guy wonders how often children selling vehicles on Craigslist are offered illegal pot for payment?

Like.
Lol.
I know that I’ve had stuff listed on craigslist and people always will text you offering are you green or 420 as trade

Oopsy. At least offered to pay and did't just lowball the seller.

I've only sold one thing on CL since pot became legal, and the only offer I ever got for pot in exchange I simply replied with "Cash, no grass." He tried to up the ante, so I told him "Fuck off." This does irk me, it's not hard currency, it may be green, but you can't get products or services with it (legally at least).
Good. One more off of the streets. That means one less douche nozzle blowing up my Craigslist email to offer "trade for 420?" like I get all the time. So annoying. Leave me alone. I'll trade for cash burnout. Sell your ganja and then look me up when you got greenbacks.

So they legalize pot, and now are surprised how pervasive it is? Good grief, how out of touch is that department? Every stroke of a legislator's pen creates a new market and new criminal class. Fact of human nature...

For what it's worth people have been offering to trade me weed for goods on Craigslist for 15 years plus.
