Anyone here know of any good instructors or schools who teach courses on primitive survival techniques? My wife and I have done a lot of camping and backpacking over the years, and I’m good at a lot of outdoors skills, but I have yet to learn primitive skills like starting a fire with a bow drill, making and setting small game traps, identifying edible plants and bugs, etc. (I’m sure I could learn most of it online or by reading, but my wife isn’t a fan of learning that way.) Thanks!

Foraging the Rocky Mountains: Finding, Identifying, and Preparing Edible Wild Foods in the Rockies (Foraging Series) by Lizbeth Morgan is a good book to have on hand among other areas if you plan to be there. Gives a good hard copy of what you can find where you are. I identified and tried a lot of new things from this book last summer while in the mountains all over Colorado fishing.
