Should be pretty cool. Taking 10-22 mags is a huge plus. And its already threaded for a can.
Hrm... look fwd to the release and subsequent reviews, especially in comparison to the savage offerings.
I picked one up today and went straight to the range, tried about 5 kinds of ammo and found two that show some potential.
Shot these groups at 50 yards only modification was a can. The Edge is 9 shots with #10 being a flyer. The group above left of it is 5 rounds measures about the same as the 9 round group. The Norma is a 5 round group. Awesome little gun!

Looks like 2018 Talo catalog has a .22 No.1 coming out also, not on the official ruger website yet with product numbers 1310 and 1301 https://www.dropbox.com/s/gw65yhi8sp6o3hc/2018_TALO_Catalog_v4.pdf?dl=0
I factory #1 in 22LR. That will be cool. Might have to get one, just cause.
At the $500 Price point what could be the down side?
I am hearing folks have been getting them for $399. That is decent accuracy, better than I would have guessed.
Hoser, is there a SD difference in .22 ammo with a match tuned semi-auto vs. a bolt gun shooting the same ammo?
All 5 shot 50 yard groups measured outside edge to outside edge.

Good shooting Chris.
Looks like Ruger is putting out a good rifle.
How is the trigger?
Trigger like and feels the same as in the RPR.
CDNN is advertising then at $399

NICE! Thanks. Good price and I like that Express Check checkout option.
Would love to see an accuracy comparison between one of these and a CZ.
I am guessing this Sunday in Pueblo there will be a Ruger vs CZ vs Savage vs 40X vs Vudoo comparison going on...
CDNN is advertising them for $399 again.

Just get a 40X or a Vudoo and be done with it. That way everything feels just like a Remington 700...

Hoser won the PRS match. He could have done it with a marlin lever gun, cause he's Hoser. I shot in my squad with a guy with the Ruger Rimfire. Pretty cool little gun, no function issues. We did learned that you must keep you Vudoo clean. Fortunately I brought my toolbox for those guys ;)
Vudoo won the morning match with 40x coming in second. 40x won the PRS match with Vudoo coming in second. However it was the usual suspects behind the trigger. I only came in one shot behind the fancy guns at the 200m berm with my entry level Annie 64. I did however get beaten in the AM match by a 9 year girl... I think the lesson is: It is the Indian, not the arrow.
Lots of feeding issues for the Voodoo crowd. I noticed the guns of the 40X mafia ran like butter.

Not all the Vudoo's :)
Magnum shooting center has one on the shelf $399
I was 9 out of 17 afternoon match shooting Ruger Precision rimfire and 7 out of 21 in AM match.
Magnum shooting center has one on the shelf $399
Not anymore, got 10% off also. Gonna throw together a budget rig and hopefully try a match soon.

Anyone seen these in stock anywhere lately? And most seem like they are around 399 but are all priced higher originally. Will these stay around 399 or jump up? Also i have seen some people had ejection problems with the extractor not pulling the casses out. Anyone with one had any problems?
I saw one hanging on the wall at Ark Tactical this past Friday.

Remember a price?
Ark was $449 when I did my suppressor paperwork Saturday. Surprisingly solid feeling rifle.
