My wife hurt her back at work two years ago and we've been getting the run around from Workers Comp. She's gotten so bad that we've had two ER visits resulting in her being admitted to the hospital for a week with what is now a herniated disc. I did a google search for workers comp attorneys but they all look the same and anyone can put good reviews on their own web site. I'm hoping the group here can either point us in the right direction and/or lead us away from potential bad apples.
Thanks in advance folks,

The county bar association has a referral program, I used it once a few years ago and was satisfied. It felt better than just making random calls from the yellow pages, and hopefully the scummiest lawyers don't participate.

Sorry to hear about this. My one and only work comp experience was awful. There is no money in work comp anymore so not a lot of ambulance chasing lawyers still do it. I was forced to litigate my own claim. Good luck and hang in there!

My father is a retired workman's comp lawyer and my grandfather was one also. Unfortunately my father is retired and can't help ya. Advice I can give you from growing up in a law family is to absolutely choose your lawyer based off of a referral or recommendation. DO NOT just choose one off of the internet! I still have a lot of family friends that practice law, but none of them do Workman's comp.
