I went to the range today and brought my 43 with me. I had picked up an ETS 12 round magazine for it but hadn’t had a chance to try it out yet. I loaded it up with 147 grain Speer Lawman, put the magazine in, and slingshotted the slide into battery. I fired the round in the chamber, it ejected just fine but the next round in the magazine didn’t make it up the feed ramp...it just went straight and stuck. I tried this a few times and the malfunction was 100% repeatable. I swapped over to WWB 124gr NATO 9mm and it fed just fine.

I would assume the longer 147 grain ammo coupled with my gun and the ETS magazine was just incompatible.
I’m going to test this magazine some more next time I make it out...but at least in my experiences so far, obviously I’ll be avoiding 147 grain ammo with this magazine. Thought I would make a post as an FYI and maybe see if anyone else has had this issue as well.

Load that mag and let it sit a day or two. Those mag springs don't seem to seat with the follower for a few mags. I had the same issue, till i kept them loaded a few days. If you call ets, they'll send you another mag.

Poked around to see what info was out there...and found your post from yesterday on Glock Talk. Small world.

Would be cool to see Glock at least make a +2.

Me ? these are not the droids you're looking for

I'm using someone's + 2 base plates on the ETS mags. While they're not my "Go To" carry mag, they work enough that (TIN FOIL HAT) if i ever needed more than 2-3 factory mags, the few i have would be called in to service.

Definitely keeping them loaded a few days made a difference. Since i experienced the same issue first time out when i tried their mag. Their CS is very good.
