How come nobody is talking about the snow mageddon? Seriously white stuff falling.

It basically never snow, rains or otherwise precipitates here. However right now we have a solid 6" of snow, no drifting, perfect snow. That is more snow than we have had combined in the last year. More snow in one shot than I have seen in several years. Of course its usually hard to tell how much snow fell since it usually blows away before it hits the ground.
It is still snowing heavy right now.
Anyone else getting snow?

Usually it's the other way round. There's definitely 4+" of partly cloudy on the ground , it's tapered off to a very slow dusting coming down.

Crazy snow. Shoveled 6" this morning before leaving for work. The company truck couldn't get up on the county road from my drive, had to go fire up my diesel to get out and about.

It was weird last night coming in from the barn and the snow was falling straight down and piling up. Usually the snow falls sideways and the ground is bare.

Wish we'd get some here. The storm a couple weeks ago gave us about 5", that's the most snow we've seen in this part of town since 2016.

Last Winter was freakishly dry and warm. OTOH we were moving to our new house then so it benefited us. We were able to plan things like our big self-moving day (Feb 11), the day the movers came for the furniture (Feb 13) and the day the safe was moved (Feb 16) all with no regard to the weather (all were nice, warm, clear days.)

But everything's bone dry. We need moisture, in some form. Wish we'd get a crazy huge blizzard!

I went past it this morning. one of the trailers had the rear trailer door and the icc bar and part of the trailer floor and the rear tandem completely sheared off and lying upside down in the middle of I-25. Two semi's involved and a car rearended a trailer. It was ugly.

Also HAZMAT team on scene due to fuel spill.

The Wondervu Cafe is good for what it is: middle of nowhere mountain mex. There are a few menu items I like a lot and get every time. The Mexican Creme Puff dessert is outrageously good IMHO. Its gotta be a million calories. [LOL]Definitely a shared desert.

I do like dem margs too....
