From TEDxMileHigh fb post:

Note: for tomorrow's Conversation, anyone attending will be asked to leave their concealed carry in their car or at home, and we will have security at the event.

In Colorado, it is up to the venue/establishment whether or not to allow concealed carry, and if you have questions or concerns, please Message us!

Thank you for understanding and see you all tomorrow!

The facebook page says to leave your guns at home or in the car. They'll provide security.

That's how they will control the bias of the audience.

Well, only if people are too scared to go outside their homes unarmed.

Not sure which of the several gun control threads to post this in, but I keep hearing anti-gun people talking about the NRA and gun lobbyists only caring about selling more guns. While there will be that element, I wonder why the NRA doesn't come out and say something along the lines of "Hey, we don't care if no one ever buys a gun again, we care about protecting the right to do so." Seems like an easy way to put a hole in at least one of the silly arguments that gets thrown out there all the time.

This is a TEDx presentation, not an Independence Institute presentation. Yes, David Koppel is one of the speakers but it is being put on by TEDx

It's a TEDx talk so the video/audio should be available online afterwards.
