I just used up my store of Coleman fuel while camping last weekend so stopped by the local base exchange and Sports Authority to try to replace it. WTH ... does anyone other than REI stock Coleman fuel in Colorado Springs? Last time I price-checked at REI, they had the MSR white gas for something like $15/gal ...

I bought Coleman fuel at Walmart fairly recently.

Are you talking about propane in those little gas cylinders?

I refill mine with a five gallon tank that I fill at uhaul for $3 a gallon and a little attachment I got at harbor freight. Works great while camping and the torch goes out.

I think he is referring to White Gas, Coleman Fuel.
It is still available it Walmart. I bought some in Falcon, CO the 1st week of Sept.

It might be the time of year too. I went to wally world and only saw a little bit left

I have had fine results with the unleaded gas models.
Check out some Pawn shops for deals. The cost savings of the fuel will pay off in quick time.
You may be able to use unleaded gas in you old stove. The new refined unleaded is very clean compared to the old leaded gas.

I'm not in the springs, but I've always found it at wally world, and occasionally at Home Depot and Lowe's.
