View Full Version : Littleton SWAT called for guy with a gun. It was nothing.
Saw this on channel 7 this morning. Near Arapahoe CC. Nothing on the web yet. It was just finishing up when this was posted. Be aware just seeing a gun gets people in motion. They didn't say what he was doing, likely cleaning or adding something tactical.
Probably just a pop tart eaten in the shape of one.

I have, for a long time, left my garage door open when cleaning/modding/etc on the bench in the back of the garage (hard to see details from the cul-de-sac, but not impossible). All my neighbors in my cul-de-sac are well aware of my stance on the 2A, and they have all seen Opie drop off several really heavy metal boxes. I've taken all but one couple to the range, and have taught them all to shoot (if they didn't know) or let them shoot a different variety of firearms than they own (most don't have more than a hunting rifle, a handgun or 3, and a hunting shotgun).
That kind of behavior, IE working in the garage with the door open, has stopped given the current political situation.
Recently, the oldest couple on the circle moved, and the group they sold the house to are younger and obviously liberal, so I have been more for more judicious in my visible activities.
I do my tactical drills in the backyard under cover of darkness. Just in case.
Seriously, I did take my shotgun out there the other night just to test out a recently added weapon light.

I found that wearing my ghillie suit keeps the neighbors at bay.
I don't care what others see. I have had the sheriff called once when I was cleaning ARs in the garage. Door wide open, temp table setup near the entrance. Many liberal neighbors in the townhome group. Literally saw one old hag drive by and saw her jaw drop and then mouth "oh my god" before speeding down the alley. This was when the sheriff was called. I showed a liberal neighbor an AR on her front porch after Sandy Hook because she wanted to see one and see for herself what it was. Many walked by and saw, some with horrified looks. But took her shooting and she's not afraid of them nor want them banned.
I intentially open carry when going to the mail kiosk or walking the trails in the neighborhood. And I notice the looks, and honestly don't care. Fvck sensitivity.
I have to put up with their open displays of liberalism, they can deal with seeing the legal use and carrying of firearms.
