Drove by there today ... they've been working on the building for the last few months and today I saw that it has shiny new signage.

Says: Kodiak Firearms.

Ah I remember that porn shop was there growing up as a kid back in the 70's, finally closed up eh? Guess we'll find out what the new shop is like, get down that way about every 6 weeks or so since I still have relatives about a mile away from there.

Stopped in there yesterday, the place is called Kodiak Arms. Friendly staff, cool atmosphere (tactical without the derp), prices seemed reasonable for a small retail shop.

They had a good selection, lots of black guns and some semi-exotic stuff like ZEV Glocks, DP-12 shotgun and some boutique long range stuff.

I don't think they'll put Specialty out of business, but Paradise may need to step up their game.

Big "For Lease" banner across the windows and place is empty inside. That didn't last too long.
