Walk in buy tickets, hit concession stand, find seat. Unless there's a coat & gun check, it's concealed. There's no detectors in most theaters, yet.

Right or wrong, I’ve conceal carried there multiple times.
No detectors or pat downs, so my permit prevails.

They have a sign out saying no, but it's small and easy to miss.

They do. All AMC theaters have a tiny little sign (literally like 3"x5", maybe a touch larger on some) tucked away somewhere around the entrance. I've seen them on the ticket counter windows, the door into the theater, etc...
