I mean it is San Fran and well I don't think it requires any more thought with their process.

This reminds of that time people thought W was going to send troops to fight Russians who had invaded the state of Georgia.

So who is being sent to EOD the live round? Any updates?

My guess is if you talked to 1000 people in big cities, and mentioned Frisco folks would assume San Fran. Unless when I talk about Las Vegas and you naturally think New Mexico. On any level a bit of an over reaction. I understand caution. Are we going a bit far? I think this is going to put people on a level of alert that is mostly stressing people out. Might be adding to the stress of going to school. Or its desensitizing the next generation to constant searches and loss of privacy in the name of safety.

I wouldn't bet against you. Today is trash day. Maybe someone threw their icky Commie gun in the trash where it belongs and some rounds popped out?

We'll have to wait for the media to tell us.

In his defense. when you see news about a "OMG OMG OMG WTF WE FOUND A BULLET! A BULLET! EVERYONE IS GOING TO DIE THE WORLD IS ENDING" article, one naturally would presume it to be San Francisco even before reading the location of such overreaction.

Good point.

But then I doubt the global citizens of San Francisco spend much time looking down.

I bet if you ask someone in Colorado where Frisco is.... if they answer san fran then they are either gay, liberal or a transplant from out of state...possibly all three. When Colorado residents talk about a city and use the city name we dont usually assume someone is talking about the cesspool of the nation.

Years ago, 2002 or so, I found a live .22 Mag round on the floor of the auditorium at a HS in Greeley.

First thought was to just stick it in my pocket and forget about it, then I decided maybe I should let someone know about it “just in case”

Turns out I should have went with my first thought.

Won’t make that mistake again.

Do they know the caliber yet? I could adopt it and make it dead if I have the right gun to go with it?
I bought a pick up once with a bag full of 357 magnum rounds. I didn't have a 357 so I gave it to something that did. I didn't know I was suppose to call the news and have mountain made out of a mole hill over it? Another truck I bought after that truck blew the engine was a low rider on airbags. It had a watch that doubled as a weed grinder and a switch blade in there. Still have them both if you want a picture? Funny the stuff people leave laying around. I'm not sure if I should get free counseling or victims assistants money out of all this. But it sucks I left it all sitting on the table.

I bought a .44 mag to shoot some bullets I had laying around for years. Then I remember that I put them in that box of bolts that we were passing around a while back. So I had to buy some more bullets to match the gun that I didn't have ammo for. Its a vicious circle.

That’s how it is with the saying “just sayin” you can say something like “that shirt completely makes you look fat and unattractive” to your wife and as long as you say “just sayin” after you’re completely in the clear. It’s as legally binding as calling “shotgun” for a car front seat lol
