View Full Version : Interesting Outcome of Bondswoman Shooting Client
Apparently she thought he was going to skip town. She tried to arrest him. He refused and tried to flee. She shot him fleeing and killed him.
I can't believe she got off on it but she did. To me this was a bad shoot.

Oh my GOD. That's awful.
The prosecution was overreaching- murder in the first degree?
I'm at a loss for words.
Yeah, that doesn't look good. The article you posted suggests that the jury couldn't do murder one with the instructions, which makes more sense than that they just thought she didn't do anything wrong.

Not really blaming jury per se, but more the Prosecutors for charging her with murder 1. Clearly a murder 2 case.. I'd still have a hard time acquitting her if I sat on that jury despite the judges instructions. SMH..

Just like the zimmerman case. They went for headlines rather than a solid chance for a conviction.

The difference is zimmerman was charged with murder 2 anc the jurors were able to convict on lesser charges.
People also think he got off on "stand your ground" rule but he argued a simple "self defense" since trayvon was pummeling his face

I'll have to check, but i believe it was all or nothing with zimmerman. DA's are going for the gold in cases like this, rather than do what they do for habitual offenders, plea bargain.
