Friend of our came across this old photo and her grandmothers membership card for the KKK. Appears this photo was taken sometime during the 30’s in Sidney, NE. Looking south on 10th street.

Evidently from what I’ve been able to determine this was against Catholics and Jewish. Would of never thought this in Sidney.

You're surprised about Sidney? Take a stroll through Valentine, Chadron, and especially Hay(all 3 blocks of main street) Springs. If you told some of them, drinking bleach would give them whiter whites they'd thank you.

I really love seeing old photos like that. Very cool this was captured. So much of our history is being erased from our school books.
