Good news but fat chance any pro gun measure is passed by the traitors. I contact Sen Gardner and Bennett on a weekly basis. Again on a weekly basis I get the response back from Sen Bennett:
"According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the stronger background check system prevented thousands of murderers, domestic violence violators, and kidnappers from buying guns. These are the types of solutions that make our communities safer and should be enacted at the federal level."

Yesterday, the Senate State, Veterans and Military Affairs Committee defeated anti-gun legislation, Senate Bill 51 on a party line vote. At the same time, the committee passed magazine ban repeal legislation, Senate Bill 52. SB 52 will now go the Senate floor where it will await full consideration. Please contact your state Senator and strongly urge them to support Senate Bill 52.

Senate Bill 51, sponsored by Senator Michael Merrifield, would make it a crime to knowingly possess a “multi-burst trigger activator” that is designed or functions to accelerate the rate of fire of a semi-automatic firearm. The broad and overreaching provisions in this legislation could potentially criminalize firearm modifications such as competition triggers, and ergonomic changes that are commonly done by law-abiding gun owners to make their firearms more suitable for self-defense, competition, hunting, or even overcoming disability.
Senate Bill 52, sponsored by Senator Owen Hill, and Representatives Lori Saine and Stephen Humphrey, seeks to repeal the misguided 2013 law that limited the amount of ammunition a firearm magazine can hold. By removing this restriction, law-abiding Coloradans are not limited in their ability to protect themselves and their loved ones.
Again, please contact your state Senator (https://leg.colorado.gov/legislators?field_chamber_target_id=2&field_political_affiliation_target_id=All&sort_bef_combine=field_last_name_value%20ASC) and strongly urge them to support Senate Bill 52

I doubt Hickenlooper will sign it.

Contacted my rep and urged him to support the magazine ban repeal.

Glad to hear that the trigger ban/bump stock ban initiative failed.

Saine has been fighting for us for several years now. Happy to see them keep trying.

ETA: Would 51 have made my finger illegal?

I applaud you for contacting your reps frequently but you do realize Gardner and Bennett are federal reps and this bill is at the state level right?

Very little chance SB 52 will get through the house(no chance but can hope).

Contact not only your rep but also fill all Dem reps mail boxes.

[LOL]

In 2018 I think the only place one's finger is not permitted in within a trigger guard.
