View Full Version : Of all the silly things
Do any of your kids have any of those fidget spinner things?
I have seen them everywhere and I stumbled across some clearance stuff when I was out with my wife today and found one with the Rockies logo for $1 and couldn’t help but buy it.
While my plan was to just set it on my desk at work for some sort of conversation piece or whatever I can’t quit playing with the darn thing. It’s quite addictive. I’m worried I might have some type of adult ADD or something.

fake, there's no orange dust on it...
let us know what "moves" you've learned (yes, like skateboarding, etc)
My daughter as a few of them. I know this because she leaves them laying around the house. While I have spun them once or twice, they don't do anything for me.
I would rather play with my slingshot. https://simple-shot.com/
If I had a WC catalog I’d need something to keep my hands from reaching for my CC.
No blame from me.

Great way to learn the science (x,y,z) for kids.

My eight year old demanded one because all the other eight year olds he goes to school with have one. It's sitting in a plastic bin in his room, gathering dust. But God help me if he didn't get one.
He's got the attention span of a fruit fly, but it doesn't really manifest in nervous physical energy. He's mostly off fighting Pokemon battles in his head while everyone around him is taking math tests.

Like most fads this one is already on its way out the door.
Already proceeded out the driveway, down the street, around the corner, and out of sight.

I'd need it and counseling when I saw the first scratch.

I've never even touched one of them. I've never had a pet rock either. Stupid is as stupid does.
Can a hole be drilled through the center to mount one on a board? We've got some projects around the house that could use exactly that. If not, what type of glue would hold those on a vertical surface? Gorilla glue?

Unless you invented the damn thing. Then it's genius.

I think they call that a 'Lazy Susan'.

I think that was one of Jim's ex-wives.
