Just heard that Netflix is hiring Susan Rice. I couldn't find a customer service email link so I went to their Investor Relations page and informed them I'd be dumping any Netflix holdings I have. Who would trust any company that had a proven liar and probable traitor of such magnitude in their employ?

Goes to show integrity, honesty and trustworthiness are no longer a virtue in life. The Peter Principle prevails.

Yeah the imminent SJW convergence of Netflix is pretty clear ... oh well, enjoyed it while it lasted. Back to the torrents!

Nothing on there worth watching anyhow. Unsubscribed several years ago due to boredom, lack of new content, took forever for new movies and shows to come available.

No big loss.

I've been with netflix almost since their inception.

I've watched a lot of interesting and enjoyable content over these past 2 decades, as well as a lot of stinkers. The last few years, I have noticed a real decline in the quality of selections. There have been a few gems here and there, but most of it has been a lot of "what the hell is this, and where does it come from" type of stuff.

Can't hardly get any decent anywhere-near-current titles. Lately, a lot of their series are even difficult to stay with. Not all, but a lot.

That said, this will likely finally push me over the edge to cancelling my subscription. I am truly sad that it has come to this. I am going to spend a bit of time looking through the available titles before making my final decision, but I'm sure the quality of available content will continue to slip further and further from my scope of interest, and likely into predominantly propagandist drivel as time goes on.

Anyone canceling their subscriptions over this should let them know this is the reason. None of the treasonous SOBs from the Obama administration should be profiting now but I take particular exception to Susan Rice because of the sheer volume and magnitude of the lies she's told. Remember Benghazi.

This is an example "conspiracy theorists" point out that Libs have a broad network to protect each other and keep each other in prosperity. Because of her misconduct for the cause, she will never work in public service again so they found a place for her.

Rice has nothing to offer an entertainment company. Zero. Other than the entertainment of exposing her lies. She has no executive experience in a private company.

Why the Left even keeps around is astonishing...

At the time of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, Rice reportedly said, "If we use the word 'genocide' and are seen as doing nothing, what will be the effect on the November election?" She subsequently acknowledged the mistakes made at the time and felt that a debt needed repaying.

+ Libya
+ Benghazi (and all the lies)

Count me as another as I mentioned in the “lib” thread, done on the 3rd and I told them why.

I guess I don't care as long as they keep delivering the content that I like.

I'm pretty much of the same mindset.

In this day in age, a vehemently conservative person such as myself cannot stop doing business with every single company/person that employs a company/person that has done something that I disapprove of.

Seeing fellow 2A supporters getting hassled for purchasing something from a company that has made poor/stupid staffing decisions sucks.

You're right.

And soon everything available to all consumers will be run by liberal fuckheads that have decided all the policies that you'll live by.

So, what solution do you propose that doesn't require living in isolation without the internet, human interaction, grocery stores, and nearly every other ammenity?

I'm genuinely curious.

ETA:

I may have misread the tone of your post as being sarcastic.

If that's the case, then my post isn't necessary.

If not, then I am curious.

Okay, so I did misunderstand the tone of your post.

My apologies.

I agree. We, as conservatives, are hosed.

At least until the next American Civil War.

No worries. I doubt any of us are truly ready to just hop off the grid and be fully self sustainable 100%.

Wasn't there another time in history when a certain people were claimed to run everything and be bad for the world and some people didn't like them?

Agreed.

I had, and took, the opportunity to stay for a week in a good friends off-grid cabin. (No cell phone, no internet, no electricity, cabin)

It was an eye opening experience. The problem with comparing that to trying to be truly off-grid is I took enough food to last for a week, I didn't have to hunt/forage/etc my food.

I wonder if it's related to Netflex paying for original content created by Obama, or just a coincidence.
