Friend of mine loves his FN-5.7. Looks like a small rifle cartridge jammed into a pistol.

Anyone got experience with one of these? It looks interesting, but very expensive.

Loud. Some people compare 5.7x28 to .22 magnum, but I'm not one of them.

From everything I’ve read/seen, they are cool but that’s about it. If you’re looking for something that shoots flat, it might be up your alley...but if you’re looking for a serious caliber, look elsewhere.

That caliber was pretty effective at Fort Hood.
I found it to be one of the easiest pistols to shoot accurately that I have ever shot. I found the safety and slide release difficult to actuate. The standard mag is 20 rounds. If you live outside Colorado you could add the 10 round extensions to have a total of 30 rounds. They are very light. There is less expensive range ammo available now.

You can still add the extensions, just not able to buy greater than 15 rd mags.

Been shooting one of them and the P90 this last week. Very accurate for what they are, minimal recoil, lots of firepower in a light package. For as many calibers i have and start up cost i passed on the package,

I've had the FiveseveN and the PS90 in the past. They were pretty fun. I didn't really feel like they were all that well built, lots of "plastic". I was suppressing the pistol and the amount of blowback was insane. I had to put a bandana over my face. I eventually sold them both when the price of 5.7x28 ammo went to almost $2/round a while back. Like others have mentioned they were both very accurate and very easy to shoot.

I bet the people at the bank didn't like that!

I had one a few years ago. It was just "ok" for me. Shot well, and was accurate, but I didn't like the feel of it. Very, very plasticy. My biggest gripe though was the mushy index finger safety. It just didn't feel right, and was so foreign to the external safeties on my other handguns that I decided to get rid of it.

I have one and use it quite often. True that it is mostly polymer, bit is very light and has manageable recoil. The 20 round magazine is great, as it is still a fairly thin grip so it is easy for people with smaller hands to handle. It is not an every day carry gun, and is not as cheap to shoot as any other common handgun. However it has its place and is a well made weapon.

I have one and I had buyers remorse. Not sure why either. 3x 20round mags straight shooting and light weight. I think it would work great on most game and critters even the 2 legged kind.

Any of you guys that had the PS90 SBR it? I held one the other week; felt pretty good. I'd just be afraid of the ammo as the selection is free and far between.

I rented a FA P90 a while back at Scottsdale Gun Club...Tons of fun with the happy switch, and don't recall noticing any "cheap" feel to it, but can't say anything beyond that...

Only way I would ever see myself getting one would be in SBR form, but honestly, short of a happy switch and/or AP ammo, just don't see any real point...

Fun little compact rifle. Shooting 55gn subs, it is very quiet. I have a SF mini mounted on it. Being a blowback, brass life is short for reloading.

PS90 is nice either way. If you SBR it you have to have permission to take it anywhere out of the state and its really locked down. I just kept the longer barrel and bought the FiveseveN pistol.
