MC jacket zipper replacement

**Update-Finally got my jacket back from Twin Peaks today-took long enough, the claim was a delivery issue with the required zippers. I think the father is a bit more responsible than the son, the work was well done though pricey and I don't feel I can recommend the shop. Will look elsewhere if I need leather done again. I went there Wednesday to pick it up regardless of whether it was done or not and just by coincidence it was being worked on, promised later that day-and it was finished that afternoon-but I couldn't make it back until today to get it.**

I have a great heavy duty motorcycle jacket that isn't made anymore. I need to have a couple of the zippers replaced if at all possible. I've been unable to find a replacement jacket that provides all the features this one has (FirstGear Scout IV). I know about the seamstress Lydia that shows up at various events and dealers but she can't replace the zippers. Thanks for any help.

There is a lady up here that works with leather. I can PM info, if your interested. Also, Perry's Shoes moved into Ned. I think they do jacket repair too.

This is the best jacket I've ever owned-warm, great protection, built in neck gaiter in the liner. Too bad they stopped making it. Haven't found anything else that even comes close.

Well dropped the jacket of this morning to Twin Peak. Going to replace the two zippers on the sleeve with one way, there was a little stitching on one of the sleeves that needed to be redone and putting on a new zipper head on the main zipper. He's using YKK metal zippers on the sleeves. Should have it back in a week or so, that works for me. I'll let you all know my impressions then.
