Aside from Dragonman's in Colorado Springs, what ranges in Colorado allow rapid/full auto/bump firing?
Only other place I know is Shoot Indoors if you clear it with the front desk and RSO first.
edited: this got way off topic and needs to get back on topic.

(Mel is a hilarious and stand up guy btw),
Cant tell if you are being serious.
If you are, you don't know Mel.

P.S. I thought you were all about gun safety? Safety and Dragonman don't belong in the same converstion.
Before you get fired up and think you're being picked on, Dragonman's has a long and storied history of being shady, from New York all the way to here, and before he was even in the firearms industry. So you basically just started a thread and talked about how cool you thought North Korea was while in a South Korean nail salon.

If the shooter can demonstrate muzzle control we allow that.
Pls clear it with the RO on duty first.

I have been to Mel's range twice and haven't seen any of that. He's treated me with respect and made me laugh. I guess everyone will have their opinions.

Is the range both are referring to.
Having "been to Mels place twice" means you know just about enough to look foolish. As for being respectful, more likely setting up to rip you off.

Well until Mel does something to cause me to not trust him or acts in an unsafe manner, he has my respect. I don't go off other people's hearsay. For $10, his range is affordable and I had a safe experience both times I've gone and it was on par with Cherry Creek SP SFC.

"I don't go off other people's hearsay."
Then why would you post in feedback forum?
Is killing his wife in an unsafe range accident unsafe enough for you?

OK i was going to sit this out. BUT...................I've known him since 75 with a MC shop about the size of my garage. Then he was dealing with people i knew and associated with. Way back in the day he was ok, slowly drifting in to, He'll never get my money / business.
Sooner or later you will see something or do a deal and realize. You know the people who said something were right. Until then if you're happy there go.

When/if that happens, you can rest assured I won't go back.
I doubt I'd buy a firearm from his place anyways. Wasn't impressed with his prices and I didn't see anything that jumped out at me that I just needed to have or wanted, but the range fees were reasonable.
I'm not down in the Springs all that often, so its not like I go there every weekend and have beers with him. Been there twice in 5 years. I usually try to avoid the Springs when possible.

Despise people that want to ban binary triggers, bump stocks, and trigger cranks?
Mel will be your huckleberry...
Check out around 2:00-2:11...

Lead Valley does not have restrictions on rate of fire... BUT you have to be a member to shoot Rifle/Pistol.

While I appreciate the OP’s stance of giving respect until it is demonstrated that respect is not deserved, I can also agree with the other people posting that Mel is a bit of a douche / scumbag and a detriment to our community.

Yes, giving the benefit of the doubt is indeed virtuous. But ignoring an entire community about a sleazebag also violates the virtue of prudence.

ok, this was never intended to be a dog pile on anyone.
good god, can we get back on topic?
I'd just like to know which ranges allow rapid fire.

Mel was also fully supportive of the Clinton crackdown on FFLs during the 90s. He whored himself out to any TV station that wanted to do a story on it because he thought it would put more money in his pocket.

I should add that WP is a members-only club. Probably won't work for you, being from up North :(

All of the ranges i belong to which are private/membership allow any kind of safe shooting.

This.
The problem with public ranges is, well... they're public. We all know what that means.
I know a lot of folks like to pile on Centennial but they don’t have an issue with it. Or at least no one has ever told me to slow down. Their systems allow all kinds of drills. I don’t buy much, except on their sale days, but really like the ranges.
BLGC is OK with it, but again - private club. And a loooong drive for you. But 1000x better than Dragonbastard's.
Take him a Harley engine to overhaul. Go ahead, we'll wait.
