Anyone have intel on ranges, private or public or otherwise, that allow low light/no light shooting?
Both rifle and handgun, both white light and NVG. Never shooting at an unidentified target, obviously, but I had the opportunity to learn these skills and would like to maintain them.
Outdoor would be great, but beggars can't be choosers!

I would also be interested in this. Particularly if there are other members who would be interested in setting up "payment" events to train together!

I'd be interested! I'm always looking for more opportunities to train with like minded individuals.

At one time, I believe this place had low-light shooting one day/night a week, but I don't see anything on their website. You could call them.

I have a place it is "allowed" but something I don't want to advertise. A lot of the board members are older and may decide to include a rule if pushed too far. For access at night you have to be a member or be with one. You can pm me, i'm planning on doing some night shooting this summer.
I've done to flashlight matches at IDPA over the years, but nothing regular. Matches aren't really the same as training a particular skill though. Great for people who've never shot in the dark and want to experience the reality before purchasing gear they think they want.
I'd be interested in shooting/taking a class with low light or NODs.

Blucore has a low-light shooting class that was fun to take. Classroom and then range time.

Shoot Indoors Broomfield is where it is at. Since they are open pretty late and if it is not busy they will turn off the lights. If I'm there and they turn off the lights I'll put on a show with my Krinkov.

You know a place to shoot at night, just not a class. He doesn't care, and those automotive wire eating rodents are fair game.

Yea I know, I need to come out and shoot more.

Hm, if Shoot Indoors is willing to turn off the lights, that's certainly an option seeing as they're open until 10 on certain days. Still, it's not quite the same - I have a BE Meyers MAWL laser and a PVS-14 setup I want to put through its full paces. I'd like to be able to dial up the range a bit, even move while shooting. Though I fully get why ranges would be hesitant to allow it.
Classes are great for learning the basics if you have never done something, but once you have learned it, you should have some consistent practice whenever possible.

If the range is slow Shoot Indoors will work with you. Down side is you may have to bribe them with a mag if you want them to turn off the lights.
Can't you just wear very dark glasses?

Or close your eyes?
If anyone in the Springs wants to get out, Dan512 and I go down to FSC every so often to play with lights/lasers/NODs.

I'm not in the Springs but I'm willing to drive pretty far to play with those things. My night vision setup needs to get used more often.
I know that Triggertime in Longmont has classes for this. It's member only however. I don't think they'll just turn off the lights for you.
