Anyone ever heard of the Frozen Dead Guy festival that they hold every March in the Nederlands? Yeah, I didn't know either. Here is a short wiki article about this event.

Yup. I went skiing one weekend at Eldora and they were having the festival. Pretty cool too, to bad Nederland is pretty much Boulder 2.0.

Jeffrey Dahmer, some sick fuck from Wisconsin, that chopped people up and kept them in barrels and in his freezer. He was killed in jail in a matter of months after he was sentenced, to bad. I think he "accidently" tripped and fell heart first into a broken mop handle.....poor guy

If memory serves, Dahmer was beaten to death with a broomstick while cleaning a prison bathroom. There are two different versions out there, but that is what I remember reading from that time.
Donner party. Hmmm, nothing fun about that party.

Ah, good old Alfred Packer, the "Colorado Cannibal"! When I was in the academy at ACC there was another cadet who lived across from the cemetery. Literally about 50 yards from Packers grave. There were a bunch of pennies spread across his headstone. Apparently some CU students came down and dug up his body and kept him in their frat house until they got caught! Now he has a big concrete slab over the grave. I read somewhere that the pennies are to pay homage to the deceased after the grave has been disturbed. Very interesting story. Wiki him, its an interesting piece of history. Civil war vet too!
