Anyone having tapatalk issues within last few days? Running regular (free) tapatalk, not Pro, on android phone.

I did a system update on my Samsung G7 yesterday, and since then, no threads show on the forum (or on Brian Enos forum). Won't refresh. 1911forum seems to be functioning fine.

Any helps, tips, fixes appreciated.

Thanks

I thought they retired Pro a couple of years ago. I'm running the free version on a Galaxy Note 8 with Oreo, and the forums seem to be working fine. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling Tapatalk?

ETA: It appears that they brought Pro back. I can still see my review from 2016 when they "upgraded" Pro to the free version. Was a pisser at the time to have paid for an app to have it abandoned and replaced with a free version. After reading the reviews from the Pro version, paid users are being spammed to pay for "VIP access". I use the free version on my phone, but am not a fan of how the App owner does business.

I've been having similar issues, as well as private messages not coming through until I log onto a desktop.

Occams Razor...

Sheesh. Didn't even have to un/install. Simple sign out/in to tapatalk solved it.

Sorry, can't help. I refuse to use the app; tried it twice and disliked it enough to know I don't want to use it.

While we have the plug-in for it here, given that it's a third-party tool it's not something we can support or troubleshoot.

ETA: Good to hear you got it corrected. So, it was a Java (coffee) fix; eh!? :)

Indeed. [Coffee]

I use on my phone for ease of navigation over the browser. If there are other/better options, I'm open to suggestions. [rockon]

Naw, no better options... I just use the browser (Firefox) and expand the screen image as needed when I want to actually read content.

I have a similar issue, even prior to today's hiccup.

Sometimes, when I hit the mail tab, it just shows the INBOX / SENT ITEMS tabs. If I go to the inbox and refresh, they usually pop up. It's a couple extra steps, but I have yet to try to figure out a permanent fix.

Don't know if that will work for your issue.
