Looking at getting my dash redone on a 08 Silverado. The model is notorious for cracked dashes and the truck otherwise is in fine condition. Have called a few dealerships but they all just try to sell me on a new truck and not spend the money on getting it fixed. So does anyone happen to know of someone who could give me a quote/do the work for a decent price in the South Denver area? Any help is appreciated.

Don’t know if they do dash replacements but I’ve had a few vehicles worked on at Diamond on west Evans.

The dash replacement should be an easy DIY project. The cost of the part might be a little surprising.

If I had time and space I’d do it for you.

Typically this is something I would take care of but after some research and it being integrated into every aspect of the front half of the truck (as the dash is all one piece upper and lower) I’d rather have someone do it.

I've used Hank's several times (though it's been several years) and was always very happy with their work.

If you do a cover, make sure it doesn't hamper the airbag deployment. None of the dealerships I worked for would sell dash covers because of liability.

Prime Time in Aurora is one of the few shops I have sold parts to that actually do body work. Most body shop's employees have quarter drive air ratchets in their tool boxes and have no idea how to work a hammer and dolly. Not sure if they do interior work.

Might try some upholstery shops as well. I know the dash isn’t really upholstery but they might be willing to do it since interiors are kind of their specialty.

Thanks for the help guys, I thought about a cover but not sure I’m a big fan on the finished “look”. So I’ll give these places a call and see what I can dig up

This is what i would do. I've not seen this exact vehicle done. Others I've seen done look nice enough. https://www.amazon.com/DashSkin-07-14-Chevrolet-Cover-Black/dp/B00HS4S396
