My permit expires in August. I initially got it in Jeffco Aug 2013.

I now live in Adams County.

Do I need to take my certificate of handgun course completion in again? It's from Tennessee. Or will that already be on file since I have an existing permit?

Anything else I need to know for renewal?

Thanks in advance.

Adams is super easy and fast.
I made my appointment online, brought in my Arapahoe county permit, and a few minutes later left with my brand new Adam’s county permit.

Drew thanks for the info. So just to clarify, I won't need to take my handgun training certificate then if I already have a valid permit?

As I remember, you are correct. My current, non-expired permit was good enough.
Check out the Adams county sheriff website for the detailed info.
Once you make your online appointment get there early as they allow like 20 people to signup for that time slot and they operate by first come first serve basis. I was there 15 minutes before my time slot and 5 people came in behind me before they even opened.
Once you’re in, the actually new permit process is super fast.
