Been thinking about a side by side ATV with plow blade. This would be for general use and to plow my 400 foot driveway. Been looking at Polaris, Honda, Kabota and BMS. When you add up all the extras that come standard on the Cadet it is several thousand cheaper than any of the others.
The only drawback to the Cadet is it only has 38 HP. Would this be enough power to push a 72" blade?
Anyone own one, recommendations problems?

it would depend on how deep the snow is and if it is a wet snow.
Don't use a winch to raise and lower the blade as it will wear the winch out.
A 48 inch blade is a pain to get mounted on a atv.

Then I guess trying to mount a 72" blade (which is the only option available on the Cub) would be a huge pain.
Thanks for the reply!

At the last job we had a cub cadet and it was the biggest peice of shit. We were always fixing it till it was costing to much to fix and had so many problems that we coulnt sell it. Ended up giving it to a junk yard for free since they picked it up. We only used it for trash runs and to get around the property, we had a blade for snow but it didnt have enough power to plow. I would pass on the cub. Here at the new job we have a mix of tool cats, bobcat utv's, kabotas, and gator's. The tool cats are beasts but cost 65 grand I would reccomend the kabota but there pretty pricey also. There is a reason the cub comes with a bunch of extras in the 20 grand price range you get what you pay for.
